Poltrona Frau

Poltrona Frau products are comfortable and curvy. Real thrones that make every customer feel like a king, at home or in the office.

Poltrona Frau is an international brand that for over a century symbolizes the elegance, style and accuracy of Made in Italy.
A company renowned all over the world, which owes its success to the precision of choosing raw materials for creating its products; this ranges from armchairs to sofas, from beds to poufs: furnishing accessories designed to offer maximum comfort and define a certain style.
In fact, the group creates furnishing projects suitable for every need, managing to combine ergonomics and design. It is possible to recreate any environment by customizing the products. The flagships of the company are the Poltrona Frau John John sofa collection with the solid beechwood frame, the Ginger armchair with leather cover and Aster X, a version of the director’s chair.
Over the years the company has perfected the most advanced material processing techniques; this is the secret of success: a heritage handed down from generation to generation, adapted and renewed starting from the manual processing of master craftsmen.
The production process begins long before processing, with the selection of leather.
All this is done while protecting the environment and with a view to decorating homes and offices in order to live in comfort, safety and welfare, far from toxic and harmful materials. Each product is branded since 1912: a guarantee that “seals” perfection. Quality and price go hand in hand with Poltrona Frau, a brand that has become practically the equivalent of excellence.

Poltrona Frau production phases: from leather to sofas

Each Poltrona Frau furniture ensures extraordinary aesthetic and lasting qualities. The use of the exclusive Pelle Frau® (European full-grain leather) allows the creation of exquisite tactile effects. In fact, the manufacturing process consists of 20 production phases, each carried out with the utmost care.Production can be divided into three macro areas: residentialcontract (dedicated to public facilities and stores) and Interior in Motion; the latter is specialized in creating customized furniture for the transport sector, i.e. for the automotive, aviation, nautical and railway sectors.

Poltrona Frau Vanity Fair, Archibald and Cockpit: the sovereigns of the collection

Among the most popular products of the brand we mention Poltrona Frau Vanity Fair, the replica of the well-known 904 model, present in the catalog in 1930. The prototype of the modern armchair with a typical rounded shape: a line of leather-covered tacks outlines the seatback and armrests.Poltrona Frau Archibald is an armchair created in several versions, whose exclusive feature remains the soft and wide seat richly padded with goose down; the structure and feet are made of steel, with a thin and light line. When two excellences meet, the result can only be perfection: in one word, Cockpit.Poltrona Frau and Ferrari celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Maranello house with the creation of a unique product; an office seat inspired by the seat of a racing car, which therefore borrows the character and performance of Ferrari cars. The Cavallino Rampante armchair is designed to offer the sensations felt on the track, from ergonomics to the perception of momentum and propulsion.A union of prestige, which enhances and highlights even more the long collaboration between the two brands.
