These are the last days to visit this interesting exhibition realizaed by architect Mandarini at the Triennale in Milan.
Design Emotion is an exhibition concept, it’s a touring model, which aims it’s to promote and raise awareness of the culture of design and sustainable innovation to new models of products and services for the new scenario of the cities of the future.
The exhibition event is a meeting place of different cultures of design and sustainability: a physical and virtual place capable of attracting the best avant-garde in terms of thought, products and technologies, to the city of the future.
The exhibition is part of the events held in Milan EXPO DAY to promote the Expo 2015.
The project involves the construction of the Hall of Material Connexion at the Triennale in Milan with installation issues dedicated to design for sustainability and smart cities.
Specifically, a wood module will be realized in order to recreate a contemporary home environment with flexible furnishings and natural materials. From there you will have access to the center of the room where a PV tree will be the central focus of the exhibition and it will be the evocative element of the relationship and integration between nature and technological innovation.
On the either side of the hall it will be recreated the Cities’ Skyline (countryside and mountains) and they shall bring to issues of sustainability by using color, words and slogans. These panels will be integrated with flooring graphics which tell the issues of sustainability and of the approach to the design and redevelopment of smart cities. The entrance area will be paved with high design parquet, symbol of integration between the galm style and low-impact materials.
Hurry up! You have time only until the 30th of June, 2013.
