During Milan Design Week 2026, Baxter unveils a collection that further consolidates its distinctive design language based on materiality, atmosphere, and strong sensory impact. More than a simple furniture presentation, the brand creates an immersive narrative that extends across showrooms, urban installations, and experiential settings, transforming design into a deeply emotional experience.
At the center of the presentation is Baxter Cinema, the Milan showroom housed in a former 1970s multiplex theater, reinterpreted for the occasion as a brighter and more fluid environment. Here, the new collection takes shape through interconnected spaces defined by reflective surfaces, natural materials, and soft volumes that interact seamlessly with the architecture.
Among the key indoor novelties is Viktor Soft by Draga & Aurel, a seating system characterized by generous proportions and enveloping forms, revisiting the lounge aesthetics of the 1970s through a contemporary lens. Alongside it, Chicago by Paola Navone introduces a more structured and architectural language while preserving the relaxed elegance that has long defined Baxter’s identity.
Particular attention is also devoted to complementary furnishings, increasingly central in shaping the domestic environment. Coffee tables, bookcases, and storage elements explore the interplay of textures, surfaces, and materials, contributing to a sophisticated yet highly welcoming living concept. Even products dedicated to home technology are reinterpreted with a refined and discreet approach, naturally integrating into the space.
This material research continues in the outdoor collection, which transfers the same tactile and sartorial quality of the interiors to exterior environments. Lounge seating, tables, and outdoor accessories for terraces and open-air settings maintain the brand’s identity through refined finishes, soft volumes, and a natural, sophisticated palette.
Alongside the collection, Baxter expands its urban narrative with “The Baxter Journey”, an itinerant project transforming a historic Milan tram into an immersive space during Design Week. The installation brings the brand’s language beyond the traditional showroom context, establishing a direct dialogue with both the city and its audience.
With its 2026 Design Week presentation, Baxter once again confirms its vision of contemporary luxury: a balance between craftsmanship, material research, and atmospheric storytelling, where design becomes a narrative tool capable of engaging all the senses.
