Interni Opens a New Space in Milan

Located in the heart of Milan’s Durini Design District, the new Interni space joins one of the city’s leading destinations for contemporary design.

Unveiled during Milan Design Week 2026, Interni Durini marks a new chapter in the evolution of the Interni Design Experience. Located at Via Durini 17, in the heart of Milan’s design district, the space stands as a fully immersive expression of Interni’s design philosophy: the ability to conceive, develop, and bring environments to life from the ground up, transforming vision into reality.

Interni Durini is the result of a fully integrated process, where every stage, from concept development to final execution, is curated and coordinated by Interni. More than a showcase of products, it embodies a holistic approach that encompasses spatial design, material research, bespoke solutions, and final styling. Every detail is driven by a clear intention: to create spaces that are not only visually refined, but also deeply coherent and distinctive in identity. At the core of this methodology lies an ongoing dialogue with highly skilled artisans, whose expertise transforms complex materials and craftsmanship into architectural elements with a powerful expressive character.

This new destination builds upon the vision established by the Interni Design Factory on Via Turati 8, expanding its narrative while introducing a complementary perspective. If Via Turati represents the operational core, where layouts, technical solutions, and custom projects take shape, Interni Durini embodies the moment when the project reaches its fullest expression. Here, the focus extends into the more emotional and narrative dimension of interiors, where furnishings and decorative elements become essential in shaping both the identity and atmosphere of a space.

Designed by Massimo Castagna, the Via Durini project unfolds through a carefully choreographed sequence of environments, each conceived to express Interni’s ability to harmonize architecture, materials, and design languages into one cohesive vision. Upon entering, two monolithic Calacatta Viola marble volumes introduce the space with a sculptural and tactile presence, immediately revealing the project’s emphasis on material research and artisanal excellence. A striking marble bar system by Henge establishes a strong material identity from the outset, functioning both as a practical feature and as a defining architectural gesture.

A partition system by Barausse shapes the interiors with fluidity, allowing the spaces to be dynamically reconfigured while reinforcing the architectural rhythm of the project. Surfaces and finishes, from natural textures to bespoke detailing, reflect a layered design approach grounded in an uncompromising attention to detail, a hallmark of Interni’s identity. Every element reveals extensive research into materials and manufacturing techniques, the result of an excellence-driven production chain that lends the spaces authenticity and character. One of the clearest expressions of this philosophy is the marble-clad staircase on the right, distinguished by an open-book marble technique that allows the veining to flow seamlessly across surfaces and steps, enhancing the material’s visual depth and continuity.

The journey continues upstairs, where Cassina takes center stage. Here, Soriana sofas upholstered in suede introduce a softer, more intimate atmosphere, evoking a sense of domestic comfort while maintaining a strong stylistic identity. This balance between architectural rigor and lived-in warmth lies at the heart of the Interni Design Experience.

Interni Durini ultimately emerges as a true manifesto of Interni’s design expertise. It is not simply a place to discover products, but a fully realized environment that illustrates how an idea evolves into space, how a project is envisioned, developed, and brought to completion in all its complexity.

During Milan Design Week 2026, the narrative extends outdoors as well, where Exteta presented the 10th Joint Stone table as a temporary installation, further reinforcing the dialogue between indoor and outdoor living. Once again, Interni’s vision emerges with clarity: to conceive spaces as unified systems, where every element contributes to a coherent and elevated living experience.

We invite you to experience the Interni Design Experience firsthand at Via Durini 17, in the heart of Milan’s design district.
