The Petra Green Tray, designed by AMDL Circle, the studio founded by Michele De Lucchi, is part of the Petra collection, a versatile series of marble objects conceived to adapt to everyday needs while celebrating material and geometric design.
Each piece in the collection can function as a tray, pen holder, pocket emptier, or decorative object, leaving room for personal interpretation and creative use. The project arises from the union of marble’s solidity and precise geometric composition, transforming functional objects into refined design elements.
Its distinctive surface is defined by the orthogonal overlapping of thin marble strips, creating a refined geometric pattern. Lines and squares are carefully arranged to play with optical perception, generating a dynamic dialogue between solids and voids that animates the object from every viewpoint.
Crafted in green marble, this version highlights the natural depth and variation of the stone, bringing elegance and character to desks, consoles, and living spaces. Petra celebrates the intrinsic beauty of materials, an essential aspect of AMDL Circle’s design research, infusing everyday objects with sculptural and decorative value.
Custom sizes and marble options are available upon request, allowing each piece to be tailored to individual projects and interior concepts.
