The Clessidra is a poetic object that reflects on the passage of time through material and colour. Inspired by the traditional hourglass, its design captures the delicate movement of sand flowing between two glass chambers.
Almost imperceptible yet constantly present, the grains of sand move in a continuous cycle, symbolising time’s quiet progression. Suspended between two differently coloured glass forms, the sand gradually adopts their hues as it passes through, creating a subtle visual dialogue between the elements.
This refined balance between transparency, colour, and motion transforms a simple gesture into a contemplative object. Both decorative and symbolic, the Clessidra becomes a small sculptural piece that celebrates the beauty of time and transformation.
