The Piani Copper Console, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is part of the Piani capsule collection, where traditional natural cane craftsmanship is reimagined through a contemporary design language.
Handcrafted in Italy, the console combines lacquered wood and hand-woven natural cane, shaped by expert artisans who merge traditional techniques with modern forms. The design features two large oval elements enclosed by rectangular panels, forming both the top surface and lower shelf, creating a composition that feels architectural yet visually light.
The warm Copper lacquered finish adds a distinctive contemporary character, enhancing the contrast between the structured geometry and the organic texture of woven cane. The result is a console that balances classic craftsmanship with modern elegance.
