At Milan Design Week 2026, Edra once again demonstrated its singular approach to design, presenting two new additions to the collection that explored movement, perception and emotional comfort. Introduced at the Salone del Mobile, the Anywhere sofa by Francesco Binfaré and the Dilly lamp by Jacopo Foggini became the central chapters of the brand’s latest research into the relationship between body, light and space.

The presentation unfolded within a scenography that has become deeply associated with Edra’s visual identity. Full height mirrored surfaces alternated with monumental LED walls displaying natural, classical and contemporary environments, creating an immersive landscape where objects appeared suspended between reality and reflection. The neutral architecture of the stand amplified the material presence of the collection, allowing each piece to emerge through light, texture and movement.

Anywhere represented one of the most ambitious evolutions in Francesco Binfaré’s long collaboration with Edra. Conceived as a fully mobile sofa system, the project challenged the fixed structure traditionally associated with upholstered seating. Modular elements with irregular bases allowed endless configurations, while rotating backrests adapted intuitively to different positions and gestures. Through Edra’s Smart Cushion technology, the sofa responded directly to the body, transforming comfort into something fluid and continuously changing.

Alongside the sofa, Jacopo Foggini introduced Dilly, a luminous object that brought together craftsmanship and experimentation through layers of handcrafted polycarbonate. Tall and almost architectural in scale, the lamp carried the vertical presence of a sculptural installation while maintaining an unexpected sense of lightness. Transparent surfaces filtered and diffused illumination through overlapping textures, producing reflections that changed constantly depending on perspective and atmosphere.
