Oxymoron Green Vase

The Oxymoron Green Vase, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is part of the Oxymoron collection, a series of ceramic vases created as a tribute to nature and the transformative passage of time through contemporary design.

Handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans, each piece reflects the smoothing action of water and wind on rock and earth, translating natural erosion into a tactile and sculptural ceramic surface. Marks that evoke the passage of time are contrasted with a brightly enameled finish, creating a dialogue between raw texture and refined color.

Each vase features a distinctive dual finish: one half is coated in glossy glaze, while the other reveals a textured surface marked by gently carved cavities. The result is a contemporary vase with a time-worn character, where organic imperfection enhances its sculptural quality.
