Villa Dellago

Overlooking the Veronese shores of Lake Garda, in Torri del Benaco, Villa Dellago is an example of contemporary architecture that combines lightness, transparency, and harmony with the landscape. Designed by the Milan-based studio JM Architecture with the aim of minimizing earthworks, the villa dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior, offering spectacular views of the lake through large glazed openings on all four sides. The studio developed a concept that makes the most of the site’s natural slope. The house is articulated on a main floor and a semi-basement partially open to the lake, where furnishings, finishes, and fittings blend seamlessly with both the architecture and the natural surroundings.

Every detail is conceived to ensure the residence becomes one with the landscape. The large windows of the main floor provide panoramic views from every room, creating spaces where natural light enhances a palette dominated by warm tones. The lower floor, shaped by the gentle slope of the terrain, offers a more intimate atmosphere while maintaining a direct connection with the outdoors thanks to two patios that highlight the garden and provide evocative glimpses of the lake.
A white aluminum framework defines the perimeter of the pavilion, while the façade of the master bathroom block is clad in wood-plastic composite slats with an oak finish, echoing the natural hues of the surroundings. On the south side, the swimming pool extends the profile of the building, reinforcing the visual continuity between architecture and water.

The interiors is the result of the synergies between Interni and JM Architecture studio, distinguished by bespoke furnishings and refined materials: oak boiserie, bathrooms enriched with marble surfaces, and an open kitchen that integrates technical equipment with elegance and discretion. The furniture selected among the finest brands in the industry, is light and understated, enhancing the brightness of the spaces and creates a harmonious balance between design and nature.

Villa Dellago reinterprets the classic model of the lakeside villa, achieving a refined balance between architecture and landscape. Premium materials, meticulous detailing, and a constant dialogue with the context transform the residence into an immersive and harmonious living experience.
