MASTERS TRIBUTE AND CREATION 2022

Within the new Masters Tribute line, we find two art pieces offered by the Tuscan company. The “Stellage 52” armchair – designed by Gabetti & Isola, Raineri – is back in production for the first time since its creation seventy years ago. The design reflects the original version with a few structural and decorative updates. The Modello 530 desk designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1957 which, for the occasion, has been renamed “Nòs”, which means “walnut” in Milanese dialect.

The long-term collaboration continues with Roberto Lazzeroni, who has designed three new pieces: The “Janine” chair, which reinterprets with a contemporary vibe a historical product of the Tuscan company, has a refined structure in solid American walnut with a curved backrest and an upholstered seat capable of guaranteeing maximum comfort. The chaiselongue version of Icosofà, featuring an additional broad resting surface for relaxing, and Icorondò, the soft, flowing shapes of which accompany the elliptical structure in American walnut which extends upwards and which includes a pocket emptier tray at the top.

Giuseppe Casarosa offers four new pieces of furniture. Scrinium is based on the idea of the secretaire, consisting of a light structure and a panel that folds down to become a desktop. Alberi di Toscana is instead a kind of accessory-treasure. The shape of the lamps recalls the foliage of the olive, cypress and maritime pine trees, typical of the Tuscan region. Pigra evokes the idea of the office chair: thanks to a backrest in plywood upholstered with memory foam and an accompanying foot rest. In line with a concept of relaxing and entertainment, the Galimede side table (covered in Poltrona Frau leather) can accommodate a number of objects to create a reading nook.

DRAW Studio has created three exclusive new pieces characterised by references to the past and intermixing with the East. The Lisa chair pays homage to the daughter of Giò Ponti and his Superleggera: the two symmetrical sides of the chair are entirely obtained from a single board in which the only element that emerges is the wide and comfortable arm. The Wonderbox it is a credenza which, like a sophisticated box, stores and displays rare and special objects. Lastly, the Obon is inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns and, with its lightness and generous dimensions, becomes a symbolic object under which family and friends meet to dine, be together and cultivate relationships.
