The Chester sofa features springing achieved with hand-tied biconical steel springs fixed on jute straps on a seasoned beechwood frame. The seat padding is made of rubberized horsehair, while the backrest and armrests are crafted from hand-shaped vegetable horsehair. The seat cushions are filled with goose feathers. The feet can be spherical or tall, available in a dark walnut-stained beechwood finish or black lacquered beechwood. They are also available in wood covered in leather.
