The Vanity Fair armchair has a solid seasoned beechwood frame. The padding uses both hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberized horsehair, and the seat cushion is filled with goose feathers. The seat, backrest, and armrests feature springing achieved with hand-tied biconical steel springs fixed on jute straps. A row of leather-covered nails finishes the back and sides of the armchair. The upholstery can be in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric.
