Drop is a double-sided bookcase designed by Nendo in 2010 for Cappellini, a piece of furniture in slender laser-cut metal sheet with matte lacquer finish. The particular feature of this project is the design of "Nendo" shades palette inspired by the natural elements resembling Japan, from the pink of the buds of blooming cherry trees to the warm gray of the brook stones. The bookcase seems to float in the air defying gravity. Drop is also available in three different heights. A piece of furniture characterized by a unique design that will amaze anyone who admires it.
