The exhibition Italy for Interiors. Posters for living’s culture will be held in SpazioFMGperL’Architettura froma 7th March to 28th March by Luca Molinari: an innovative thinking about the subject of architecture and interiors, using the work of four Italian designers as a starting point and observation.
Dap Studio, Francesco Librizzi, MONOatelier and Simona Ottieri, four excellence in the fiel of the interior design research, each of which present a poster about the interior design, which tell experiences, stories, profiles and different proposals for a new way of thinking the culture of living in Italy.
The exhibition starts from the domestic space to investigate the evolution of the great Italian tradition compared to contemporary architecture.
“Our country has always been distinguished for the quality of the research and design of the house, adapting the concept of interior design from time to time to the needs of the contemporary society , which gradually evolved over the years. Today we work at home, live in office, study in old factories and creating libraries in deconsecrated churches. Each function takes a much-needed ability to be flexible, changeable, temporary, able to receive evolving functional codes in relation to a society that doesn’t have any certain reference model, otherwise it have to continuously adapt itself to changes. At the same time the Italian tradition has focused on the development and the sperimentation in the domestic space, as a form of resistance to the advancing of urban growth , thinking the house as a new starting point for contemporary architecture”, explains Luca Molinari.
