Living Ponti Style. Last day!
An installation of home furnishings designed by Gio Ponti
between 1935 and 1958
A homage to the great master of the 1900s and to his designs for the home and the work environment. Gio Ponti’s home and office interior designs return to life thanks to archival photographs, drawings, sketches and projects, some of them unpublished, produced throughout his life from Palazzo Montecatini (1936) to the Pirelli’s offices, passing through the residences of Via Brin, Via Randaccio and Via Dezza in Milan (1957), housing his studio.
It is a story both personal and professional, that is accompanied by letters, family photos, and videos created specifically for this exhibition that recalls Ponti as the man and the architect through the words of his children, students and collaborators.
Hurry up! June 26th is the last day to see the exhibition!
The exhibition is in “Italian Cultural Institute” of Los Angeles (1023 Hilgard Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024)
