Velaria is a refined sliding-door system from Rimadesio, defined by geometric rigor, elegant lightness, and a focus on pure architectural lines. Its ultra-slim extruded aluminium frame enhances the visual impact of Rimadesio’s exclusive glass panels, creating surfaces that feel simultaneously minimal and expressive.
The system runs on Rimadesio’s patented sliding rails, wall mounted, ceiling mounted, or recessed, ensuring smooth, perfectly aligned movement even in large-scale compositions. Each panel is custom made in height and width, up to 3180 mm tall and 1500 mm wide, offering generous architectural freedom. Multiple handle designs further expand the possibilities for integration.
Velaria is available in a rich palette of aluminium and glass finishes, including the distinctive mesh and bronze-network options that create a soft, veiled transparency. The result is a sliding-door system that delivers precision, serenity, and contemporary sophistication, ideal for interiors where light, proportion, and material refinement define the atmosphere.

Made in Italy, born in Desio in 1956, Rimadesio immediately came to light thanks to the desire to experiment and innovate. Initially these concepts were applied to the glass processing: this allowed the company to rapidly transform into a large industrial enterprise, soon exceeding the provincial dimension. In the following years the brand has grown fast, thanks to the continuous evolution of design capacity and constant care concerning the materials used. The goal of Rimadesio is to continue developing its design culture and production technology, to offer customers always functionally innovative and aesthetically exclusive proposals able to ensure maximum reliability over time
