Montera designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2013 for Poltrona Frau
stands out for the formal lightness and sensorial charm of the material: the
combination of the raw cut processing highlights the tactile quality of hide
and leather and enhances both of them; the light seams on the backrest are
shaped like a smile. Montera includes a chair, armchair, stool with seat in two
heights, stool with column and stackable chair. The same materials and finishes
can be found in all the pieces of the collection as in this stackable chair.
First of all the original upholstery of the body, which combines Pelle Frau®
leather on the inside and Cuoio Saddle Extra leather on the outside with
contrast stitching on the edge. Also available in the version entirely covered
in Pelle Frau® leather. In this case the seam is tone-on-tone. All the pieces
of Montera collection are distinguished by the body in mold-curved beech
plywood. The padding is in polyurethane foam. The legs of Montera chair,
armchair and of stools h 66 and h 74 are in solid wengé or moka stained ash
wood with spacers in black nylon. Code: 5559001
