A concept, an idea, and a way of seeing things that has always distinguished Jasper Morrison from other designers and which has characterized and still characterizes the approach the London designer takes with each project. Objects are considered an integral part of people's lives and function always comes first, uniting it with utterly contemporary lines and forms.

Born in London in 1959, Jasper Morrison studied design and received his degree from Kingston Polytechnic Design School. Soon after, he also obtained two masters, one from Kingston Polytechnic Design School and the other from the prestigious Royal College of Art of London. After finishing his studies, he opened his own design studio in London in 1986 where, in addition to product design, he also devoted himself to urban planning projects.

Fame was not long in coming and Jasper Morrison's name began to circulate amongst companies in the field. He immediately engaged in a long and fruitful collaboration with Cappellini, which over the years led to the creation of more than 30 products. In 1989, he began collaborating with Vitra, one of the most important companies on the international design scene. At the beginning of the 1990s, companies such as Alessi, Magis, Flos, Alias and many others commissioned him to create numerous important projects. 

Today Jasper Morrison boasts 3 design studios bearing his name, the main one is still in London while the other two are located in Paris and Tokyo respectively. His unmistakable style defined by elegant minimalism is perceptible in every object and the extreme ability to offer functional products that last over time make him one of the most popular and sought-after designers. His works range from furniture, lighting, and footwear to watches and small home complementary elements, making him an all-round designer.
