Matti Klenell

Matti Klenell, born in 1972, is a highly regarded Swedish designer and glass artist based in Stockholm. A graduate of the prestigious Konstfack Academy, Klenell launched his design career in 1999, collaborating with well-known European and Asian brands, including Iittala, Moooi, Muuto, Fontana Arte and Örsjö. His work spans a variety of disciplines, blending traditional Scandinavian design with modern industrial techniques.

In addition to his commercial projects, Klenell is celebrated for his glass artistry, a field where his creative vision and craftsmanship come together to produce striking works that have been showcased in exhibitions and public art installations. His dual focus on art and design allows him to explore materials and production methods in ways that enrich both fields.
