Philippe Nigro

Philippe Nigro is a French designer born in Nice who graduated from the school of applied arts and product design in Paris. His career as a designer began in 1999, collaborating with famous personalities such as Michele de Lucchi and, to date, his activities are mainly concentrated in Italy and France.

His curriculum includes collaborations with companies in the design sector such as Ligne Roset, De Castelli, Serralunga, Glas Itaia, Venini, Foscarini, Zanotta, De Padova and Hermes.

His style characteristics result from the combination of experimental research and the pragmatic analysis of his customers' requirements. He was awarded Designer of the Year at the Maison & Object Show in 2014, for his great innovative and expressive capacity. A recognition that also earned him several projects such as the scenography of the 7th edition of the Design Museum at the Triennale di Milano, and the creation of the set design of the Lexus company during the 2015 furniture fair.
