Romeo Guaricci

Romeo Guaricci, born in Acquaviva delle Fonti in 1949, earned his degree in Visual Communication from I.S.I.A. in Rome. In 1972, he co-founded the theater group "Altroteatro" and began his career in Graphic and Industrial Design in 1973. Since 1974, he has taught at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Rome, and in 1984, he co-founded ISID, also publishing several works on design. Guaricci has received numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1989 and the Italian Design Award in 1997. He has exhibited his work internationally, taught at top institutions like the Politecnico di Milano and La Sapienza, and led the Graphic Design Department at RUFA. Since 2012, he has served as the director of the Accademia Italiana di Arte, Moda e Design, and since 2015, he has been part of Italia Lavoro Spa's specialist register.
