Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) and studied architecture at the Madrid Polytechnics, later completing her studies at the Milan Polytechnics, where she graduated in 1989 with a great master of Italian design: Achille Castiglioni. Right from the start she worked with some of the most important architectural firms in the Lombard capital, such as Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni, and then opened her own studio in Milan in 2001, dealing with architecture, design, art, exhibitions, graphics and art direction.
Her talent and determination have allowed her over the years to work with important Italian and international companies such as Agape, Alessi, B&B Italia, Cassina, Driade, Flos, Gan, Glas Italia, Kartell, Kettal, Molteni, Moroso and many others .
Intuition, sensitivity and culture allowed her to obtain prestigious positions, most recently the artistic direction of the Cassina company.
Op. cit. "I like to thoroughly investigate a theme, be on the ball, analyse and investigate."
