Founded by Luca Da Ros, forest ecologist and passionate mountaineer, Dolomitisch uses cutting-edge technologies like satellite scanning, CNC machinery, and expert artisan techniques to create topographic models of mountains that are intricately carved into solid wood. Each piece, from coffee tables to benches and wall sculptures, is a unique reflection of the landscape it represents, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The terrain-based models are created from laser scans of mountain ranges and then faithfully reproduced on wood with a high-fidelity CNC pantograph.

As part of its commitment to the environment, Dolomitisch collaborates with Etifor, a reforestation initiative, aiming to replace damaged forests, such as those impacted by the bark beetle, with biodiverse mixed forests.
